Starting a print job shouldn’t feel like guesswork. Whether you’re planning a one-off run or managing multiple campaigns, this step-by-step guide shows exactly what happens—and when. From first quote to final delivery, we make it easy to understand what’s happening so you can focus on what comes next.

Your Print NW Job, Step by Step

1. Meet Your Team

Every Print NW customer is supported by two key contacts:

• Your Account Representative is your strategic partner. They’re here to help you plan, develop, and price new projects—whether it’s a single piece or a long-term campaign.
• Your Customer Service Representative (CSR) manages your active jobs, assists with reorders, and handles the day-to-day details that keep things moving smoothly.

Your rep and CSR work as a team to ensure your projects stay on track and aligned with your goals.

2. Estimate

Every project starts with a custom estimate. We base pricing on your project’s specific needs: quantity, dimensions, materials, labor, and production methods.

Once you’ve reviewed and approved the estimate, we’ll move your job into the next stage.

3. Upload Files

Once your estimate is approved, the next step is to send us your artwork files and mailing lists, if applicable. You can upload everything directly at printnw.net by clicking “Upload Files” at the top of the page.

When your files are received, you’ll get a confirmation email letting you know your order is underway.

4. Proof Approval

After reviewing your files, our prepress team will send you a digital proof for approval using our online proofing software. Once you approve your proof:

• Your job moves into production
• You’ll receive a confirmation with the final cost and estimated ship date

5. Production

Once your proof is approved, your project moves into production. This is where our press operators, finishing specialists, and quality control team take over, ensuring every detail is accurate, consistent, and up to spec.

Whether your project involves offset printing, digital production, finishing, bindery, or special handling, we’re focused on getting it right.

6. Delivery

When your job ships, you’ll be notified right away.

• If it’s sent via carrier, you’ll receive tracking information.
• If it’s delivered by a Print NW truck, we’ll confirm once it’s been signed for.

No matter the method, we’ll make sure you know when to expect your order and when it arrives.

7. Invoicing & Payment

Once your order is complete, an invoice will be sent directly to your accounts payable contact. Each invoice includes a secure payment link for easy processing.

We accept credit cards (via PayPal), checks, and ACH transfers by request.

8. Customer Satisfaction

In order to ensure you’re getting exactly what you want, each and every time, your feedback and communication are valuable to us. Whether it’s a suggestion, a concern, or something that went really well, we want to hear it.
